Free trial credits for AutoML Tables, Vision, and Video that were applied to your account by mistake will be disabled on October 2, 2019. You can still earn free trial credits by trying these products for the first time.
Dear Sangyong,
Google Cloud offers free trial credits for AutoML Vision, Video, and Tables customers who are interested in trying Cloud AutoML products for free. These credits are issued when customers train or do prediction on a model for the first time. Due to a system error, your account was inadvertently granted free trial credits for AutoML Tables, AutoML Vision, and AutoML Video without you performing a training or prediction. To correct this error, these credits will be disabled on October 2, 2019, and removed from your account at a later date once fully-processed by our systems. Any credits you had previously earned by using an applicable Cloud AutoML service (but have not yet fully used) will remain in your account. You can still earn free trial credits on the AutoML Tables, AutoML Vision, and AutoML Video products you haven’t previously used. We're also updating how free trial credits are provisioned. Going forward, you’ll have one year from the time the free trial credits are issued to use them before they expire.
What changes will I see in my account?
The following free trial credits that were erroneously applied to your account will be disabled on October 2, 2019. Although you may see these credits in your account, they will be removed at a later date once our systems have fully-processed the error.
What’s changing?
From now on, you will see free trial credits issued when you train or do prediction on a model for the first time in AutoML Vision (Object Detection and Image Classification Edge), Video, and Tables Free Tier. These credits will expire one year after the issue date. Refer to the pricing documentation for AutoML Tables, AutoML Vision, and AutoML Video for more information.
How can I earn free trial credits?
You can earn free Cloud AutoML trial credits by training a model or doing a prediction for the first time on AutoML Vision (Object Detection and Image Classification Edge), Video, and Tables products.
You can also view and keep track of your free trial credits and expiration dates by following these instructions.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please contact the Google Cloud Billing support team with any questions.
Thanks for choosing Cloud AutoML.
Sincerely,
The Google Cloud AutoML Team
